An Attitude of Gratitude

This week we spoke a lot about being a lifelong learner. There are so many benefits and blessing that we have from being a lifelong learner. If we do not continually learn, we will be left behind and other will succeed over us.

I really enjoyed the talk given by President Monson, An Attitude of Gratitude. He expressed the importance of showing gratitude to others. He spoke about some of his professors and primary teachers who had made a very significance influence on his life and that he was grateful for them. I have learned that I need to express my gratitude more for the people who have left a huge influence over me and where I currently am in my life.

We also spend a great deal of time talking about a case study about Randy Haykin. He had a great working experience and gathered up as many learning opportunities that he could, so that he could go on and start-up his own business. I admire him for the challenges he was able to overcome and how he was able to apply the lessons of failure into the next career adventure. He has a very impressive resume.
