Learn how to Learn
This week we watched a video called Hero's Journey. There was a lot of great information that I took away from the video. Brian Clark said that the journey is all about us, but not really about us. That took deep meaning to me. We need to live every moment like it matters. Like Clark said, "It isn't about the prize, but how the hero has changed in the end."
He goes on to list out three promises that in the end will be the only thing that matters. Its all part of the journey.
Learn how to Learn.
The most important thing to take away to learn to listen, learn to ask questions and learn to not be the smartest person in the room. This can be a challenge. I think more of the listening and asking questions part. Something that I know I have to work on a lot.
Learn how to make money.
This process seems to be the easiest. Most people can figure out this part pretty quickly. Its not hard to make money. It is harder to know what to do with it that really matters.
Learn how to make a life of meaning
This part can change your life. Clark said that they conducted interviews of people over the age of 60. And they listed three things that you will question in the end. All else will fade.
We also had some time to put together our personal advisory board. That activity was fun. It was hard to sit down and figure out who I would choose. In the end I chose the following people.

- Have I contributed something meaningful
- Am I a good person
- Who did I love, and who loved me.
These were very powerful questions to me. Its not something that you think about will be your last questions. I hope that I will contribute something meaningful, and I hope to be a good person. I know that I need to have great role models in my life to make some of these things happen.
I took the advise and wrote down all of my have notes and wrote my letter for my future self. I hope that I can look back on these have not and make sure that if i did something to cross the line, I can correct it and pause and reflect on what I am about to do or what I did. And I can correct it moving forward do I do not go down a terrible path.

- Sergey Brin
- Bill Gates
- Debbie Christensen - My mother
